Erzählt wird die Geschichte einer Rettungsaktion im hohen Norden in Eis, Schnee und Kälte zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts. Statt Menschen spielen (ähnlich wie  beispielsweise in Blacksad)  'vermenschlichte' Hunde, Wildschweine, Eisbären und andere Tiere die Hauptrollen in diesem Abenteuer.<\/p>\n

Ein Kritikpunkt soll nicht verschwiegen werden: der Comic wurde auf recht dünnem, stark reflektierendem Glanzpapier gedruckt. Das trübt den visuellen und haptischen Eindruck des Albums ein wenig. Ein mattes Papier wäre hier passender gewesen.<\/p>\n

Ähnlich wie die Schlittenhunde aus Nordguard bewegen sich solche Indie-Produktionen auf dünnem Eis. Für Fortsetzungen sind i.d.R. Einnahmen aus Verkäufen des vorhergehenden Bandes erforderlich. Wer solche außergewöhnlichen Projekte unterstützen möchte, sollte mit dem Kauf nicht warten bis die Serie komplett vorliegt.<\/p>\n
